Steve is a Co-Founder of DPR and has experience in three start-up companies where he held positions as CEO, COO and CIO. One of the startups was a successful early stage turnaround initiative commercializing healthcare biomarker technology. Steve has 14 years experience in healthcare IT and also has technical experience, including ten years at NASA’s Ames Research Center and five years at two Wall Street firms as VP of IT Operations. While at NASA, he managed teams that developed imaging and algorithm software. Steve holds a Bachelors degree in Management from Portland State University.

Marty is an internationally renowned emeritus Professor of Radiology with more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, as well as editor of seven text books and 73 book chapters. Following his academic and medical training in the UK and a fellowship at Stanford University, he embarked on a career that has spanned nearly 40 years and encompassed Faculty positions at Stanford University, University of California at San Francisco, University of Chicago, where he was Department Chair for 12 years, and most recently Harvard Medical School. Marty’s scientific contributions cover a wide range of subtopics in radiology. He has worked closely with industry thought leaders and was a cofounder of Imatron Inc. and R2 technology. He is also the recipient of numerous grants and more than 60 honors and awards, including the Gold Medal Recipient at the 32nd Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions of the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging. Marty remains actively involved in peer review, training, and consulting in the fields of radiology and cardiovascular imaging.
